McKimmey Boat LaunchLovettsville Road (VA 672) & US Route 15 at Point of Rocks Bridge The Potomac River in this area is undeveloped and very scenic. The River is relatively shallow but rocky in places, with a moderate current. Most float downstream, but a fit paddler can go upstream. Requires a basic ability to read the river and pick the proper line. Life jackets required. Open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.

Keep Loudoun Beautiful Park43055 Golf Club Drive This three acre park has a boat launch at the historic Goose Creek truss bridge along Route 7. Paddling on the creek will allow you to make connections to parks on the Potomac and lower Goose Creek as well as the the trailhead for the Potomac Heritage Trail. The park also provides a picnic area. Open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Kephart Bridge Landing at Elizabeth Mills Riverfront Park43942 Riverpoint Drive 703-777-0343 Paddle the Potomac and Goose Creek via this non motorized landing. This launch allows access connections to parks on the Potomac and lower Goose Creek as well as the the trailhead for the Potomac Heritage Trail. Open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Bles Park44830 Riverside Parkway 703-777-0343 This 124 acre park offers walking trails, sports fields and access for fishing on the Potomac Par and Broad Run. The park maintains restrooms and provides water. The park is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Algonkian Regional Park47001 Fairway Drive 703-450-4655 This park is situated along the Potomac between Goose Creek and Great Falls. This park features a boat launch, water park, picnic areas, camping, playground and a championship golf course. Provided facilities include water, restrooms, and a pro shop. The park is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Beaverdam ReservoirWest side of reservoir at the end of Reservoir Road (The non-motorized boat launch is located about two miles off Evergreen Mills Road at the end of Reservoir Road) Over 275 acres to paddle and fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill and redear sunfish. The reservoir offers no facilities and is open to the public dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Claude Moore Park21544 Old Vestal's Gap Road 703-444-1275 The park has two fishing ponds, stocked by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, with largemouth bass, channel catfish and bluegill. The park facilities are restrooms and water. The park is open dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The Visitor Center is open 9:00-5:00p.m. daily.
