The Buy Fresh Buy Local Campaign helps consumers find local products while building relationships between growers, food artisans, farmers’ markets retailers, restaurants, and institutions. The Piedmont Environmental Council launched Virginia's first chapter, and is proud to offer both a printable guide and an online searchable database. New for the 2008-09 holiday season, PEC has compiled a Holiday Buy Fresh, Buy Local guide for Loudoun County.

The Buy Fresh, Buy Local guides include caterers and bakers, CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), farms, farmers' markets, grocers, restaurants, schools and institutions, and U-Pick vendors of fruits and vegetables. Read on about the types of listings you'll find in the guides.
